Spicy Baked Shrimp Recipe

This Cajun, spicy, baked shrimp recipe is quick and easy to make. Excellent as an appetizer.

Ingredients
* 1 lb fresh shrimp, in shell (amount may be altered as needed)
* olive oil, as needed
* 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, or as needed
* 2 teaspoons sea salt, or as needed (regular salt may be substituted)
* pinch of powdered cayenne pepper, to taste
* juice of one medium lime

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Place shrimp (with tails intact) in an oven safe baking dish
3. Cover shrimp generously with Worcestershire sauce. Adjust amount according to how much shrimp you are cooking. Mix well to cover all sides of shrimp.
4. Add olive oil (about 3 or 4 tablespoons) and mix well.
5. Add lime juice and mix well.
6. Sprinkle salt and cayenne pepper over top of shrimp. Be careful with the cayenne pepper (see note below).
7. Bake in preheated oven about 10-12 minutes (see note 2 below)
Note 1: Cayenne pepper is very hot so take care in how much you use. If you like very spicy, use enough to see easily on top of the shrimp and do not stir after applying. If you do not like very spicy, just use a sprinkle and then stir well.
Note 2: While baking, check the shrimp often. Properly cooked shrimp will curl into a shape resembling the letter "C". Over cooked shrimp will curl into a shape resembling the letter "U". Over cooked shrimp will tend to be tough and dry.
