Lime Chile Sauce Recipe
It takes a little while to make but it is so simple and so yummy! Pour a little on fish, vegetables or anywhere you want to add a some zing! May also be added to food while cooking. Try a dash on boiled cabbage the next time you cook it.
Ingredients
* 1 16 oz. bottle Key West lime juice (frozen lime juice may be substituted)* 4 jalapeno peppers, quartered (any small, hot pepper may be substituted)
* 1 teaspoon salt (sea salt if available)
* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (peppercorns may be substituted)
Directions
1. Strain lime juice through a very fine strainer.2. Pour lime juice back into original bottle (or other suitable bottle if using frozen).
3. Put peppers, salt and black pepper in bottle and allow to sit for two weeks in refrigerator.
