Japanese Salad Dressing Recipe




Note: Red miso is available in the "ethnic food" section of most major markets.

Ingredients
* 3/4 cup of red miso (soybean paste)
* 4 Tablespoons sugar
* 2 Tablespoons hot water
* 2 teaspoons soy sauce
* 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
* 1 Tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
* 1/2 head iceberg lettuce
* 1 carrot, thinly sliced

Directions
1. Combine miso and sugar in a small bowl.
2. Add water, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds and stir until well blended.
3. Serve over lettuce and thinly sliced carrots.
