Here's your everyday BBQ sauce that suits most people. Nothing exotic or fancy here. Very easy to make with ingredients that are commonly available in most kitchens.
This recipe makes a slightly tangy, slightly spicy sauce. It is important to taste the sauce before removing from heat. Make adjustments at this point to suit your individual taste. Feel free to adjust the Tabasco sauce to your preference for spiciness.
If you want additional sauce, just double or triple the recipe. Sauce should be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator. While commercial (store bought) sauce may be kept 4 months or more because they contain preservatives (yuk!), home made sauce should be good for at least 2 months.
