
Menu Idea -Meatless (all vegetable) Dinner
This page is intended to show what dishes commonly go together to make a traditional Southern all-vegetable dinner.
This light, meatless dinner is ideal for those hot summer evenings (or any time at all). Our menu includes collards (or turnip greens), black eyed peas, fried green tomatoes, iced tea and corn fritters. Make the corn fritters and fried green tomatoes last since they cool quickly and should be served steaming hot.
An easy way to copy all the recipes below is to:
1. Open Notepad or any word processor on your computer, then minimize it to the bottom of your screen.
2. Click on the link to the first recipe below (collards)
3. Copy and paste the recipe into Notepad (or whatever word processor you opened)
4. Click on the "Back Arrow" at the top of your browser to return to this Menu page.
5. Repeat the procedure for each of the recipes in the menu.
6. Then print out all the recipes from Notepad.
