Cajun Spicy Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients* Shrimp, with tails (as many as you want to cook; allow at least 5 per person)
* olive oil, as needed
* 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, or as needed
* 2 teaspoons coarse salt, or as needed (regular salt may be substituted)
* powdered cayenne pepper, to taste
* dash of crushed red pepper (optional, if you like extra heat)
* juice of one medium lemon
* sprinkle of dill weed
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Place shrimp in a baking dish
3. Add olive oil (about 3 or 4 tablespoons) and mix well.
4. Cover shrimp generously with Worcestershire sauce. Stir to coat all sides of shrimp with sauce.
5. Add lemon juice and mix well.
6. Sprinkle salt, dill weed and cayenne pepper over top of shrimp. (see note below)
7. Bake in preheated oven about 10-12 minutes
Tip: Watch shrimp closely while baking. When the shrimp curls into a shape of the letter "C", they are done. Do not over cook.
Note: Cayenne pepper is very hot. If you like very spicy, use enough Cayenne to see easily on top of the shrimp and do not stir after applying. If you do not like very spicy, just use a sprinkle and then stir well.
