Barbecue Beef Sandwich Recipe
This recipe may be used with beef, pork or chicken. Especially good
for left over meat.
Ingredients
(To serve fewer people, simply reduce quantity of meat)
3 lbs chuck roast
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup ketchup
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp vinegar
Directions
1. Cook the roast several hours (or pressure cook it for about 45 minutes) until the meat is falling apart. Shred it into bite-sized pieces.
2. Combine all remaining ingredients in a large pan and stir in the meat.
3. Cover and let simmer about 30 minutes.
4. Place heaping portions of meat on your favorite bread. Place left over sauce on table for those that want to add more.
Makes 8 Sandwiches
