The dry rub may be refrigerated or frozen up to 6 months. This basic dry rub works well on chicken, fish, pork or beef.
If you intend to use the rub primarily for beef you may want to increase the amount of chili powder to 1/2 cup and black pepper to 1 1/2 tablespoons since the beef can be enhanced with more robust flavors.
